I have credit card debt of 24,000$ . I am afarid will i be send to jail for not paying the minimum amount for last six months?

If that were the case there would be a back up at all the airports because I'm sure there are plenty of passengers who are behind on their credit card payments. I don't know that for a fact that they are behind but I'm willing to bet that the collection agencies are not sending people to aprehend those who don't pay their credit card bill at the airports. It makes no sense.

You are still going to owe the credit card balance. I think there is something more to this. Why would you want to wait 2 to 3 years. Did you get this card under fraudalent means? Are you worried because you are not a citizen. I just don't understand why you think the FBI would get involved with credit card debt, unless there is more to it like I said getting it under fraudalent means.

alli, all states in the US follow a specific statutes within which the creditors and/or collectors force you to pay the debts legally. If you don't pay them until the debt remains within the SOL, there chances of getting a legal case against you are feasible. When the statutes expire, you get the legal base and can refuse payment on the debt.

If a card company threatens you with jail time, then you can sue them. That is clearly illegal.

Next, you have to attack the problem. Why haven't you been able to pay at least the minimum? Do you have an income source?

I would suggest that you should pick up an extra part time job to cover your costs. You should also speak with one of our counselors about consolidation because you may be a good candidate.

You may be dealing with high interest rates that can be knocked down through consolidation. So after you fill out the form on the homepage, someone will get in contact with you shortly.
