Ok, we have a bunch of crazy posts out there right now, lets get things rolling with this! What's the most awful embarrasing thing that has ever happened to you?

Here's mine...

I moved to Michigan from Florida when I was 20. I was in college, and started work at Mcdonald's. It was awful, because I had no history in this town, and no friends. Everyone I worked with had gone to school together forever, and I was a total outsider.

One day my second week of work I was feeling really rotten, like I had the flu. I was being trained in drive-thru, and I was new, and I didn't want anyone to know I was sick. I had a couple hours to go, I thought I'd tough it out. Then the nausea started. I waited and waited...Finally I said I had to use the bathroom. I calmly began to walk through the lobby to the bathroom..The busy lobby, full of customers. I couldn't hold it anymore...Right next to a booth full of people I threw up. I can't even begin to explain how embarrasing that was. You should have seen the look on the guys face who was closest to my puke...Terrible.

They sent me home...They were really nice to me about it, they waited until I left before they made fun of me! I ended up working there almost 2 years, I never ever lived that down.

So how about you guys?

Well,I'm waaayyyy older than all of you(54) and have no tats just ears pierced. Can you imagine what these people who have dozens of piercings and tats are gonna look like all sitting around the nursing home years later when they are old? I guess I'm weird,I think of things like that. My luck,I'd get all pierced and tated up and then when I'm 90 years old and in the nursing home, all my tats have falled to my knees and my piercings have left holes big enough to throw a cat through  ...Karen

Did you take her to lunch at a biker bar? What reputable restaurateur would allow that? It's trashy and would kill many appetites! As for that waitress, it must be hell going through airport metal detectors, and she'd better stay away from really big magnets if she doesn't want her poor little face chewed up.

Of course she couldn't speak clearly with all that! My heavens! These piercings are expensive as well! You pay $20 at the most for your ears, depending on where you go, but for everything else, it's like $50 a whack to have a hole punched in some random flap of skin, and what do you really get? A speech impediment!

It's not even unique anymore to just pierce the crap out of yourself. Which lets me wonder what is next? My old man had an idea where there should be a legal age minimum for extreme body art, it should be at least 25, so that people are at an age where they will be more likely to understand what a hindrance it is to do this to yourself.

tats are touchy..I have mine, but I thought long and hard about it and where to put it. Since I will be a finsfan for life, I'm not concerned about whether I'll want to get rid of it. I would never allow my son to get one while he's underage, though..It's a very important, potentially expensive decision.

I do have a belly ring..I got it when I was 22. I almost took it out after having Andrew, but never did. My husband really likes it, so why not? Eventually it'll fall out..I've had it torn on several occasions..And then I'll be done with it.

Ari-it was a tat of a huge dragon, hearts and I don't know what all! Fins piercings and tats are a personal choice,I don't have any problem with others having them, both of my sons have one,but they are of age. The problem I have is when they have more piercings than they have I.Q,and it's at a restaurant and they are lisping and drooling  ...Karen

I have a tattoo. It is a crescent moon over a sun. It is very Picassoish. I love it. It is on the back of my shoulder, so it is rarely visible. I've had it since I was 21 or 22.

Oh back in the day my old roommate went to professional body piercing school at Gauntlet in San Fransisco. I was her pin cushion. Once upon a time I had my septum pierced twice. That was hot and unique. I also had my you know what's pierced...yes both of them. Those were fun. My tongue was pierced. That is the one that I miss the most! It was a total oral fixation for me. I could never get bored because I always had that there to entertain me! I had the cartilage in my ear pierced too. Thought about getting a fouchette, but I wossed out. (You will have to research what a fouchette is on your own!LOL)

All that I have left is 3 hole on my left ear lobe and 2 holes on my right ear lobe. I rarely wear earrings in any of them. My skin is so sensitive now. I can only wear gold or surgical steel.

Yes I was a freak back in the day. I was a child of generation X, and the punk rock era. Oh I do miss those days sometimes. I will always be a freak at heart, but my exterior is beyond normal now.

Want to talk hair colors/styles? LOL I had a blue mohawk back in the day!

Karen, our coloring seems very similar..I have dark auburn hair, green eyes, and I'm literally covered with freckles. Are you short like me?

I am getting my hair cut tomorrow afternoon. It comes down to the middle of my back..I wanted to cut it shoulder length, but I did a poll at work and everyone was "NO WAY!!" So I'm going to keep the length and having long layers cut into it and I'm going to get a lot of bangs. I am really nervous about this!
