Today I got a call from a PDL. I'm working a payment arrangement with them, but told them I would not be able to make a payment to them every payday, becuase I have other bills. I explained that I could make one larger payment every other payday. This was not acceptable to him, he wants money each payday. He then told me, that since I applied for the loan at work that I would be getting a call from the legal department and I should expect to be getting some correspondence at work indicating that they will be taking leagal action against my employer in my name for the debt. At this point I was really upset and told him to, "do what you have to do."

This seems like a ploy, because I can't see them taking legal action over 300 dollars especially since I've been paying them money. Can they sue my employer for their loan?

Take what he said with a grain of salt when dealing with United Cash Loans. If you have paid back the principal, then fight back and let them know they are not licensed in your state. You have to be ready for United Cash Loans, they will harass til the bitter end. Do not give into them and stand your ground.

United cash strikes again. Tammy is absolutely right... Don't listen to them. A lot of us here have dealt with them..They make a whole lot of noise and have no leg to stand on.

figure out everything you've paid them, and the maximum interest allowed in your state..With any luck, you may be able to send them a neat little letter demanding your loan be paid in full..Nope, it won't be easy, but you have no legal problems to worry about.
