Hi I am being harrassed at my job weekly with threatening phone calls. The officer/agent that calls always telling me he is authorized to file a warrant against me and that an officer will serve it at my job.. this is really scarey.. I have been at my job for almost four years.. to get fired now because of a bill that i can seem to pay is really senseless to me.. PLEASE HELP ME.. Is there anything or any LAW that will save me from being harrased besides filing bancruptcy?

First, you will not be arrested. It is illegal for a collector to make that threat. I would write them a cease and desist letter stating they are no longer to call you at home or at work and all correspondance from in out are to be in written form only. Call him on his ability to have you arrested, he'll back down. It is a MAJOR violation of the law to pose as an attorney, officer, agent. Let him know that he is comitting extortion and that is a felony for which HE will go to PRISON.
