Which debt settlement company should I go with, I talked to one called creditsolutions.com from Dallas TX has anyone ever dealt with these people, I am not behind on my credit cards it just that my payments are making it hard to make it to paycheck to paycheck any advice

Hi cinmik92, welcome to the forums. The debt reduction company you're referrinf to is Credit Solutions of America, located in Dallas. They currently have an unsatisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau, who has processed 206 complaints about this company in their current reporting period. This would make me a little wary of entrusting my debt resolution and finances to them. Since you registered with this website, a counselor will be contacting you shortly for a free counseling session to discuss your options. I would advise you not to sign up with any sort of consolidation or settlement agency until you've spoken with the counselor. In the meantime, why don't you tell us a little bit about your situation?

we are only a few payments behind on a couple of cards, we have about 11 cards that total about 35,000.00 and payments are high which is not leaving us much to live on, to the point that every week we are 300.00 to 400.00 into next payday, I have attempted to contact the credit cards and they will not help reduce payments they just charge me for late fees and tell me to pay what ever I can, as they raise the interest on the cards I have ask them to lower the interest but they refuse.

I'm 43k in debt to cc companies. I know how they raise the interest if you are late. I was up to 29.99% on most of them. I could only make the interest payment. I was going further in the hole every month. I found this site & they helped tremendously. I have since signed with a settlement company that I saw on the site & looked them up & they had a godd bbb rating. Keep in touch with us on this site. You'll find how much it can help.

I got took by Credit Solutions. They done absolutely nothinng... I would get a minimum of 10 calls per week from the cc companies. I quickly got out of the program which I had paid $700.00 and they offered me a whooping $193.00 of my money back. STEER CLEAR. My cards are current with 29.9% interest rate which is crazy who can pay that. The company will not talk to me about settlement of anything. Where do I go from here???

Blatt, Hassenmiller....saids they are lawyers for citibank. They never appear on your credit reports. If citibank claims charge off, i would have to say they are (Please Report This). They like to play games on your credit reports. Claiming to be everything under the sun even airplane company owners. Figure that one out.

i would try three and talk to all of them regarding their programs: Rise Above debt relief, RAM Financial Services, and Freedom Debt Relief. All good companies with the same programs but different approaches.

Rise above debt relief has been very good to me and describes everything in depth to you before you agree to anything. They have a customer support center, and the counselors that I have contacted are very nice and willing to help. If they dont have the answer, they get the answer for you. So far so good and no complaints from me! Ask for bret or tiffanie to help you they are the best.

be cautious of people telling you who to go through. I have learned that many people are advertisers around here. If you get one that you are considering you must do the homework yourself and find out if what you heard is something you are comfortable with. KNow the facts about settlement alot of scammy companies will lie from the beginning.

If you know how it works you will see the lies right off the bat and will know to move on to another one. Just be cautious of people telling you who to check with you never know if they work for them or whatever.

HOnestly no one is suppost to tell or advise you to use any company. ITs solicitation and/or advertsisement and if they have been a active member of this community they know that. While guest, may not. guests are not members just people flying buy and leaving posts. be cautious.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask
