Yesterday my hubby had a text message from UCL stating that he qualified for another loan. Then another text was from Rio stating he qualified for a gold status loan with loan amount to $500.00. This is getting rediculous, not only do they email and call, but know they are taking it to far by texting! The cell phone companies need to get off their butts and put a stop to this!

For me text messaging and email are my favorite forms of communication. I pay for unlimiited 'in' texts, and 500 out of network texts a month. I am not always a big talker, so if I have something to say, I quite often send a text rather than calling. It works for me. From what I gather though if you don't purchase a monthly package, depending on the carrier a text can cost between a dime and 75 cents per text. So yeah, who the heck wants to pay for a PDL solicitation!!!!!! I guess I would text them back and say 'bite me', before I blocked there number just on principal! But that's just me 8)

LOL Polly! I had to chuckle at that comment. I am not a bit texter myself. I've thought about adding it to my cell phone package to chat with some friends from the forum. I really only get e-mails saying I am qualified for another loan. I e-mail them back and ask them to take me off of their list. It takes a couple of times but usually works.
