Do you know anything about Christian debt solutions? debt settlement program seems to good to be true. Can they really help me?

Christian debt solutions is a referral service organization. They have partnership with different credit counseling companies. They do not individually offer any of the debt management programs, but will refer your application to the company whom they find suitable for you. So, if you are signing up with CDS, your settlement program will be handled by some other company in your area. Be alert on the company you sign with.

CDS established in 2004, are members of BBB but they have had 16 complaints in 12 months. Not good business. debt settlement companies are not all bad. Here is what you need to look for:
Years in business, and how many people have actually successfully completed their programs.
How much are the fees and WHEN do your creditors get paid. Make sure the settlement company has to earn their money, that means they should get compensated on the backend! Too many people buy in because of low monthly payments, that go straight to the settlement company leaving little or nothing to settle your debts. The result of that is lawsuits being brought against you by the creditors. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Most of your debts are likely unsecured and although creditors and collection agencies can be nasty they are willing to work with a reputable third party. Oh watch out for consumer credit counseling programs (CCC's) a majority get compensated by the credit card industry, so they don't have your best interest in mind. Need a good settlement company. Just inquire here. Good luck.
