Don't pay anything to Bass and Associates. You don't have to worry about them. Please read this link and make yourself comfortable.
Bass and Associates is passing fake threats. They are doing illegal collections. You have to make them aware of your legal rights by asking for a debt validation on the account for which they are collecting money. If they have your file, it must be put in writing. Report their illegal activities to your state attorney general and file a complaint with the FTC. They have already received many complaints. Actions will be taken very soon.
Bass and Associates, Ftr Processing, Lewis St. John, IV
Thanks for posting back to my earlier message. Does anyone have an address for this company? I just called the number 1-877-281-2224 spoke with someone named Leroy Green and asked for the address, he was quite rude and said all I needed was the quick pay information to pay them the $600.00. I asked him if he was refusing to give me a mailing address for his company? his reply: like I said all you need is the western union information to pay this otherwise you'll be going to jail, at that point I hung-up.

The address may be in the thread I fixed in my post above. Browse the pages back if you can find something. I will also check for it.
FTR/Bass and Associates address
I was able to secure the address:
Bass and Associates
9378 Arlington Expressway, Suite 323
Jacksonville, FL 32225
As a side note I when I called to get the address without identifying myself, I punched in the extension of the person who contacted me yesterday. He answered the phone with some fake African Accent and name. I said excuse me? he repeated it, I asked for Leroy Green, he then covered the phone with his hand and tried to disguise his voice and was giggling all over himself, I guess he thinks it's funny to call people and harrass and threaten them. Too bad we can't file a class action lawsuit agianst them.
I do not dispute that a deposit was made into my account what I do dispute however is that I merely did an inquiry and filled out the application on-line, I never authorized the funds to be transferred into my acount. I tried to call over and over to have them recall the funds and no one ever called me back, I tried to call after the first debit was made to my account to resolve this again to no avail.
I feel like I have been take advantage of and I am furious at myself for needing the advance inthe first place, and even more furious that they've done what they have.
Thanks for reading and helping me with this.

I think these websites take all your information and then they submit it to several loan places. I can't remember what website I went to but I was also denied and then later I get this email from FTR saying I was approved and I will be receiving a phone call to complete the details. Well I never received the call but the next day the funds were in my account. I didn't think twice about it and used the money for what I needed it for. I had a loan with FTR, FSM, SJM and Arrowhead and all of the emails and loan docs looked the same, just different addresses and phone numbers. It was very hard to get a hold of them and they just kept debiting my account, I even tried to email them and got no response..left messages and everything. Then when I closed my account they all of a sudden wanted to talk to me.
FTR and Bass you might try this as well

sign your name then print your name and send certified, return receipt to the parties involved. This is a good starting point I believe.

I think that letter will work for a period of time, but I am sure they will continue to hound you. I tried my best to get them to vaildate my acct and balance, and the lady insisted that I just pay. I am young and of course, her lies scared me, so I rushed to walmart and paid them $820.00, on a $300.00 loan. That was in August 06, so to tell you the truth, with my money and everyone else they are probally living it up right now..

Well I am not sure what the outcome is going to be but I don't intend to pay them one penny over $100.00, that is the balance of the $250.00 that I did not ask for that they took upon themselves to deposit into my account. Then that Mr. Brown (alias of course) had the nerve to call me stupid for giving out my information on-line of all places. Those were his exact words, now I might have lacked judgement but stupid? if I could have but reached through the phone I would have shown him stuid all right.
Yea, ppl like this should be shown a piece of their own medicine
Yea, ppl like this should be shown a piece of their own medicine. But they are too smart to fall for it, b/c they have it memorized on how to do it to others. If we had all of the money that they have ripped ppl off for, we wouldn't have to rely on these good for nothing PDL..
