How can I get creditors to (really) stop calling?

I do not know the ins and outs of debt settlement. It does seem though that since you are in the process of settling, that the firm that is working for you should be able to stop some of the calls. Have you spoken with them and asked for help in stopping the calls?

Settlement companies remain busy five days in the beginning and the end of the month. They are busy settling hundreds of thousands of dollars of debts with the creditors.
When a creditor calls you, tell them that you have hired an attorney to handle your accounts. Ask the original creditor for the address where you can send a copy of the letter your attorney sent to dispute certain entries on your periodic statement. This is in accordance with the Fair Credit Billing Act.
Don't discuss the issue further. Tell them that your attorneys are taking care of your accounts and they are in a better position to handle the issue.
Tell the name of the creditor, account number and the entire amount to your settlement company know. Keep yourself informed about the laws. Track down the phone calls if they are done in violation of the FCBA.
