I currently have about 8,000.00 in credit card debt, a time-share balance of 5,800.00 that I'd like off my plate! It was suggested that I include my car note (uncertain about that)but this debt consolidation deal...Is it a bad thing on your report later? What are the negatives to doing so?

Hi vette14k

Welcome to the forums. debt consolidation program covers all the unsecured debts which do not require any property to be pledged. So, you don't have to keep your car as collateral while using the services of the debt consolidation program.

Debt consolidation program will cut off all the financial charges, late fees accrued in the total amount of your debt and you will be required to pay the original amount only. Additionally, you will be offered low monthly installments at lower rate of interest which will make your repayment procedure easier.

Debt consolidation program will erase all the negative markings from your credit report and thus it will help a great deal in rebuilding your credit worthiness. Please register yourself in the sign up page to get in touch with the consultant in locality.
