I am so sorry about your situation. That's really low of your husband to do that to you.
I would send a cease and desist letter to the creditors who are harrassing you.
I don't understand how he was able to reopen both credit cards after you canceled them, especially the one in just your name. I assume you've tried to fight that?
Since you have registered, a debt counselor in your area will be contacting you. You can ask him/her what you can do about these credit cards that he maxed out. The best of luck to you. Let us know how you're doing.

If I'm not mistaken if he files for bankruptcy could she not be held liable for the cc in both names if she does not file with him?
I am really sorry that this has happened to you. I know some seperations/divorces can get nasty at times.
I would do as dbaker said and send out the cease and desist letter and see what the counselor says about the card he reopened.
Also if you have a divorce attorney he will be able to handle how the debt is divided up and such for you.
