I have 2 loans, Cashnet500 was for $350...Paid $405 in fees. Told them this was paid in full since they don't have a license in FL etc....now being asked why I feel this was PIF. Where can I find info to send them on the Florida laws...what do I say?

CTC- I have revoked my wage garnishment via email...they are emialing my boss, supervisor & everyone for this...what do I do?

Please help.

Check out this link for CTC, several people on this site have had problems with this company.

Also this website paydayloaninfo.org will give you the laws for florida. You should send them a letter stating the florida laws and also file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office.

Florida law does not allow rollovers. So if the loan had been done according to the FL laws, Your 350 loan should have cost you about $52...so your payoff should have been $402.00. So they should consider your account PIF. I would defiantly copy the Florida laws in your reply and also let them know you will be getting the FTC and the Attorney General involved.

I sent the email yesterday regarding the Florida laws and how my account was PIF, and Mr. Atkins replied with...."we are not in Florida, so we don't have to follow Florida Laws"! Now wat? I also received an email saying I need to contact them to make a payment on my account because they've had trouble with my bank accoung....an account I closed in December.

I've been dealing with cashnet500, and they are a hard one. I've filed a complaint, and my state (Oregon) is investigating them. The head guy at the licensing office in Oregon even called cashnet500 on my behalf and they didn't care. They refused to mark my loan PIF. They actually told me that since they are licensed in Utah, and Utah's laws allow them to lend in other states, so they were fine. Who ever heard of one state making laws that apply to other states?

But the good thing is they haven't called or bothered me since. I got one generic email saying there was a problem with my checking account and that was it . . . . It's been almost 2 months.
