i had to quit my job because i had therapy 4 times a week, and still wanted to go to school... so naturally i quit my job thinking my parents would help... they couldnt...
i couldnt make payments on anything... the insurance company still hasnt settled after 5 months, so i felt a lot better... i joined the national guard... it still doesnt pay much... but its the only thing in southern illinois...
i just need to know if debt consolidation would be good for me...
i have about $2,000 in debt, and no real way to pay it
and on top of that i just got a ticket for no insurance cause i cant afford it...
any advice?
(i have to get all my debts settled by Aug 01 2007, as required by the Illinois Army National Guard)

Job is an important concern in your case. Like Suebee said, any type of plan will give you results, provided you make the monthly payments. At this stage, I won't recommend you taking any new loans, but, for a chance, go to your bank and see if there is any help for you. Even if you get any help from there, you need to have a job to carry on with your living expenses and pay the debts. Maybe, if it's possible, sell any items that you don't need very much presently. This will generate some extra flow of money
