Can they refuse the payment if I send it to them on Friday? I mean I tried to make it right but he refused the payment plan. It wasn't like I was saying I would send $5 a month or something like that. And now the best thing, as I'm typing this they call to collect with the automated call. I called back and she said they are sending it to the attorney because I refused to cooperate.

He's probably trying to threaten you into paying. If you know you won't have money until a certain date,then he has to wait. Do not give banking information to a collector ever! Pay with a cashier's check or money order.

Any collector will sound pushy as long as they can collect larger payments from the consumers. Their commissions are attached with the amount collected. Send them what you can afford when you have the paycheck and wait for them to post it towards your file. They can't hold your money by not posting it towards your account.
In case your account is sent to their attorney, it should show up all the payments done on your account and then move from there.
