Back in 2002 I had a credit card with First premier bank then ran into hard times and couldn't pay the bill so I stopped. They turned it over to a CA arrow financial services. Now both accounts are listed on the CR but under first premier it says that the date closed was 9/2003 then it says sold to arrow and the remark says profit loss writeoff under the pay status it says charged off as bad debt. Then you go to arrow under the account type it says open account it does say the oc is first premier but the loan type it says collection agency attorney, remark placed for collections, date placed 3/2006. My question is why does it say open account when the account has been closed by first premier? and the est. removal date is 10/2010. Is this reported right?

Their report is riddled with errors. It should say collection account, date opened will be date they started their file, and removal date should be 7 years from date of first delinquency. If date is wrong, they are trying to reage account which is also highly illegal. Find out your true date of delinquency from either your records or First Premier and dispute with credit bureaus. When they contact you send your dv letter to them.
