They are an illegal business with many consumer complaints. You should report them to the DA????????s office, FTC and the BBB. Once you have closed your bank account, calculate the total payments done on this loan principal. You are required to pay them the principal amount only. They are not licensed anywhere, hence you are not required to pay their interest charges.

As far as garnishing your wages, they can't. Send them out a wage assignment revokation letter asap. That may have been what they were refering to. Most pdl's put something in the contract saying to agree to let them assign your wages in case of default.
This is completly voluntary. All you have to do is send them a certified letter stating you revoke any and all wage assignments you may have signed. Then they cannot take money out of your paycheck without a court order, which they cannot get.
