THIS COMPANY WAS IN YOUR LIST OF NUMBERS.

A man called and said he was from Capital financial, that they had mailed a card to my house at (gave my address) and they would help me rebuild or re-establish credit. He then said that they didnt need to pull my credit report that all he needed to do was verify that I had an active checking account. He asked how long my account had been open and asked me to get a blank check or deposit slip and give him my account numbers and he would hold on while i got it...nice of him huh? I then told him that I wouldnt give him the information over the phone and he said "well you have been turned down for credit, dont you want to rebuild your credit"? I told him I didnt call him for his services that he called me and therefore I wasnt giving him my information, that I had not applied for credit so I hadnt been turned down and I didnt need help with my credit. Then I asked him how he got my phone number (it was a cell number) and, he hung up....I punched his number into google search and it came back with Rip-off reports all over it....

I've been receiving calls from this company, but they just leave recorded messages. I don't think they are legit, because I don't owe anyone anything. My suggestion would be not to call them back until you get a live person calling you. Then ask them all the questions and if they don't seem to be legit, then report them to the FCC.

I have been getting calls form 800-677-4576 for months and I did file complaints with the do-not-call-registry but no help there. anyone has any advice on this.

In case anyone doesn't know like I didn't. CTRL F will bring up a search on a list like that. That saves a lot of eye fatigue!

I am getting calls form this # every day and every other day. I have filed with the FCC and nothing.. Any more info on this # besides what was provided at the top..

WOW........SOOO many numbers for the SAME person. Burgess.....................this is a name that I get when I get calls sometimes. I SHOULD say, the female on the phone says she is a " rp of Burgess and he needs to talk to me ASAP." They keep asking me to "verify this and that." Yeah...right. Sounds like a scam to me.

I am getting calls from 866-553-4185 almost everyday.. I have filed with the FCC but they are still calling. any other info besides what has been provided so far.

I ahve read 800notes.com also but would like to hear other thoughts :)

Another # for Burgess Law Office
Trying to collect from a party that does not live here and never has, I have had this current phone # for several years and this company cals and calls and calls.....they do not listen when you tell them the party they are asking for does not and has never lived here.
