Can you ask a ppl to forward an account to collections before it is deposited to avoid nsf
fees if you know it won't clear?

Why can't they just call the bank and confirm that the money is not there? There is no point in either party incurring the $33 bank fee when they know the money isn't there.

Thanks, Brown Sugar. Can you tell me one more thing?

Is Star Light Financial, LLC licensed in Ohio? Also, if a lender is not licensed, can they be ordered not to take anymore money from a former client's account?

I haven't heard of Starlight Financial. You will need to send this company a letter stating that you are revoking their authorization to debit your account. They will probably not abide by it, though. Can you open another account with your same bank or possibly even a different bank, and close the one that these internet payday loans have access too? I would wait and close it after Cashland deposits their checks, b/c this way, they will not be able to prove criminal intent.
