I don't know anything about legacy visa. A few suggestions is to check them out, make sure you read all the fine print because some of these cards will charge you large yearly fee, some I have seen have been as high as $159 a year just to have the card and if you only have a #300 limit, well that doesn't leave very much, plus when you apply for these, there are additional fees they add onto your card the first time and that can leave you with maybe $50 to $75 avaiable on the card to use. I say be very careful with these things, because they too are sometimes too easy to get and you may find youself with a lot of credit card debt that you didn't plan on or expect

I have not had an account with Legacy before. You may try doing a search on this forum to see what others have experienced with them. I agree with 2nband, sometimes they charge so much just to have the card that you have a large bill to start with and you are only paying on their fees.

Well, I too am not familair with Legacy but seems like I have heard the name mentioned somewhere around here.
I can tell you this though...I am in so much trouble due to defaulted student loans....that I couldn't borrow a nickel from any legitimate company. And, I get pre-approved credit card apps. everyday in the mail. Now I know my credit rating has to be close to -o  so why in the world would they offer me credit unless the costs to me would be astronomical. I just shred all of them and toss them out. So please be very careful....many of these companies are literally making fortunes taking advantage of those of us who have found our self in trouble. Good Luck ....I am sure someone will come along and be able to offer more specific info.
