That is ridiculous, I used to do medical billing and I believe the doctor's billers should know how to appeal the denial get tough with them. If they did not file timely they should eat it, write a letter to the doctor and the office manager of his office, demand that they either appeal the denial of the bill or demand that they right off the bill due to their negligence dealing with your insurance carrier. It should not be your responsiblity for their failure to provide timely billing to the insurance company. What is the time limit with your insurance company March was barely 2 months ago, it doesn't seem like much time for submission of billing.

goudah, I missed that I guess that is what happens when you speed read! Even better arguement to demand that they write off the bill, they surely have not done their job timely, 4 years! wow I would've been in deep doo-doo if I was that far behind when i worked in that industry.
