Has anyone here who is using T&C's debt management program receiving calls from your creditors stating that T&C has never sent them proposal letters nor any payments? My storefront PDLs, my four credit card accounts, and my two personal loan accounts have all called me today leaving messages stating that they have never received proposals from T&C, have never received any payments from T&C, and each PDL and creditor is threatening legal action against me.

I talked to T&C several times this week and last week, and they said that they have sent out proposals to my pdls and creditors, and they have also sent out payments to everyone. Yet, I haven't received an itemized statement from T&C showing me they have sent out proposals and payments, and T&C told me I cannot receive that until I'm 3 months in their program. It's only been 2 months, so I still have a month to go before I can get the T&C statement. After all the messages I had on my answering machine today, I'm starting to fear that T&C may not be doing their job like they told they were. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do? Any insight and/or advice from any T&C clients and anyone not with T&C but have been through a similar situation would be greatly appreciated. I'm so upset and scared right now I'm in tears! I thought things were getting better, but today proved to me that they aren't. I don't understand what T&C is doing. I'm fearful that I may have made a mistake retaining them for my debts if it's true what my PDLs and creditors are saying.

I am worried on T&C response about not showing you the statement before three months. I can understand how you are feeling. But you need to be sure that T&C has really done the payment to the pdl place. Do you know their nearest office around you? You may give a visit and ask them to show your account in their system. You just have to get some peace of mind and going in the positive direction.

The nearest and only T&C office is in Birmingham, AL, and I live in Ohio. T&C doesn't even have an email address, and they do not have an answering machine/voice messaging on their phones. I'll have to call them tomorrow and find out what's going on. I'm really getting concerned that I've made a mistaking trusting T&C with my debt. I may have should've gone with another debt management program in my home state. But how can I do that now since T&C has supposedly worked out proposal deals with my pdls and creditors? I'm so worried right now. :(

No, it's not a debt settlement program, it's a debt management program. That's why I'm so concerned about what's going on because T&C is supposed to send payments to all of my pdls and creditors once a month, and I have sent in my payments and I have receipts and acknowledgments that the payments have been received by T&C. T&C has even told me they have received them.

Anyone here have T&C as their debt management company? If so, have you had any problems with T&C paying your creditors?

I can't say whether T&C did right by you or not, but it's pretty common for collectors to lie even if the data is staring them in the face. They usually get paid (or at least earn bonuses) based on the amount of money they get in. If it comes from a debt consolidator or settlement company, they don't get the credit. So if they get you on the phone, they are going to say anything they can think of to get you to fire your representative and send them the money instead.

I'm using T&C and I'm also from Ohio. Right now I have nothing but praise for them. They have sent propsals out to all my creditors and my creditors have also received payments. Just be careful on trusting the creditors, I had one pdl call up TC and said I wish to drop TC and work with them directly. TC called me and that made me laugh since I never said anything like that to the creditor. But I've been in there program for two months, just about ready to send out my 3rd payment to them today. The only thing I don't like about TC is the 20 to 25 min wait to talk to someone. Glad I have free long distance on my phone.

I used to be with T & C and if there was a problem, they were always happy to help. I had to fax a couple of statements to creditors showing where the payments had been sent to them. Magically the money suddenly appeared on their end but I listed payday lenders. I wish I would have known about the e-mail address at the time but it was always longs waits for me as well.
