I just had One Click Cash ( MTE Financial) present a check to my bank for $545 but it was returned for nf . I called the bank to find out who had presented a check for that amount as I had no checks written for that amount and they told me who they were when I questioned them regarding the revocation of their ach theis answer was that since it was presented as a check #09718 they could no use the revocation they have on file, so now they are trying to collect more than they were owe (they owed me a refund when I revoke their achs)by presenting this bogus checks has anyone had this experience? Needless to say I am going tomorow to close the account and open a new one!. Be aware of their new tactics!

Spanisheyes, I have posted about this topic alot. It does no good to revoke ACH because they will try this paper check routine. MTE is famous for this they tried with me I dont know how many times. My bank totally closed my account and would let nothing thru. I am so thankful for that. KYSIDE38

i closed my account and the payday loan companies tried to take them out as ach transactions and then turned around and treid to take them out as check and they didnt go throught thankfully so now i get all these calls saying you owe us like 750 for a 3oo dollar loan well thankfully i knew about the laws and came to this website before they started to call so i would basically tell them that this is what i legally owe you so this is what you will be getting a check for and they are like oh ok lol

Make sure that when you revoke your authorizations you state that you hereby revoke any and all authorizations for electronic withdrawls, electronic presentment and/or authorizations for drafts, checks or other negotiable instruments. Then if you see one trying to clear your bank, at a minimum place a stop payment on it and as said above file a police report. by doing a check they actually, I believe open themselves uo for more liability (can you say forgery?)
