I have a question that I haven't been able to find a clear answer on. I'm sure it's covered somewhere just haven't been able to find it. Anyway, in April I applied for a payday loan to several places (something I know better than to do now). Well I received an email from an EZLoansbyNet saying that I had been "approved" but I was to call their number back in 24 hours to finalize the loan. I DID NOT call them back because I had already gotten a loan with someone else. So later that day I get another email (which I didn't even know about until the next day) and it said that the funds would be deposited into my account the next day. I checked with my bank and yes the money was there. I immediately sent an email back to them and told them to take the money back out of my account that I HAD NOT called them to finalize the stupid thing. I got no response to this email, so I sent it again and tried to call them several times and all I got was a recording and no call back. But they continue to take 75.00 every two weeks. Needless to say the 300.00 has been used up paying their fee. Is there anything I can do? I can't even log into their website because they never gave me a username and password and I need both to do that. Any advice on what I should do. I checked with the BBB and there it said that complaints that were filed and sent to them were sent back because they couldn't be found at the address they had for them. I would hate to have to close my account all for this one place that I didn't even want their money and asked for them to take it back when I found they had deposited it to begin with. Does anyone know if they do business under any other names?

I just read on their website on the very first page under terms and conditions which states, "Loan Approvals are cintingent upon proper receipt and verification of signed application, pay stub, and bank statement." None of which I faxed to them. Now I have to try and close my account and see if by chance my employeer will cut me a paper check because I know I can't get it closed and open a new one in time for them at work to be able to deposit into a new account. Dang, this really peeves me off!

If you have direct deposit for your paycheck it is setup ahead of time to verify the account before being transferred to it. What you can do is just close the account right away. When your payday comes up and the funds try to go to the account it will be rejected and then you will automatically be cut a paper check. I also suggest that if you're going to open a new account that you do it somewhere else so that nothing can be taken out of your new account. Some companies can work some fraudulent magic in order to get to your new account if at the same bank. They could say that you authorized them to withdraw the money out of your account and that they need to transfer this authorization to the new account.
