I am sorry to hear that. Is there anyway they would reverse some of the fees due to fraudulent activity on the account? It's worth a try.
talk to manager
I had a similar situation a few years back where the company was taking out money on the days they said they woudldn't and the NSF charges put me over a 1K in the red. I went to the bank to talk to the manager and explained the situation. The manger credited back the NSF fees and made sure no more ACH's were accepted and then I closed the account.
So talk to the bank manger and just explain to them what is going on. Hopefully they will try and help you.
