I would dispute the charge with your bank . . . . It will be much easier to get the money back that way then from the pdl . . . .

I agree with Goudah. You could waste a lot of time chasing them down. Also have your bank block any future attempts. You can bet they will try again. How did they get the info for your new account?

I have no idea, and the problem with blocking them from future attempts is it costs 30 and they have so many dba names it probably would not help anyways, I have already disputed it with my bank so hopefully that will help.

You would probably be best off closing the account and opening a new one somewhere else . . . It sucks, but it's the only way to really protect your account.

That is what I was thinking too, I hate to do that cause I already have direct deposit and then what is going to happen in 2 weeks will my check go to a closed acct?

It depends on your work . . . Some employers require a certain time period before direct deposit can be changed, like 2 weeks, and others will let you change it up until the funds are transferred. Talk to your employer and see if you can get a paper check for your next payday.
Direct Deposit Info
Go to your payroll and have them stop your direct deposit IMMEDIATELY. Explain to them that your forced to close your account and open a new one. Tell them to issue you "live" checks until your new account is established. They can do this. But you need to tell them to stop the direct deposit IMMEDIATELY. Go to a new bank, open an account, and when you get your "live" checks, deposit them. Once it's open and you feel safe for a couple of weeks or so, then go back to payroll and give them your new account information. You need to close your account you have now though. These people have your information. They will take more out. Without a doubt.

That's terrible. They stop at nothing! I agree with Cannr. If your payroll dept. cannot deposit a check into a new account with a 2 week notification I would ask for a "live" check. Most times they can do it with a certain amount of notification, though. Also, make a list of drafts that you want to come from your new account and contact the companies to advise them of changing banks. They might allow you to send them money orders for this month's payments and restart your drafts next month.

I would file with your local police department a report of checking fraud. Take the report to your bank and tell them the account has been compromised and has fraudulent charges against it.

Get your new account set up...as long as you put in your request to change your direct deposit the friday before your payday then it will go through

I had to go live with my checks once and because it was fraud they were able to do it with two days notice prior to the payroll being called in. That was a week before my pay date of the 15th. You have to tell them it is an emergency and get the right person. The first person at ADP had a bad attitude and said it could not be done. I called back and it could be done.
Live Checks
You're right, frogpatch! It can be done! They will try to argue with you or say "it's too late". No it is not! And if you tell them you are a victem of identity theft or fraudulent charges are being taken out of your account, they WILL do it. I know where I work, when I changed my bank account, I told them I had to close my account due to fraudulent charges and needed to give them my new account information for my direct deposit. This was TWO DAYS before my payday. It was done! And it's done by a third party. So don't let them feed you a bunch of crap!
not going to believe this!!!!
I am amazed I filed a complaint with the bbb against this company aka pd6ventures, today a lady calls me at work tells me she is faxing me a release and says if i sign it they will mail me a check for the 130 plus 20 for my trouble, so should I sign it, the only thing it says that is negative is that i will never be able to join a class action suit against them but i dont want to sue i just want my money back, i cannot believe i am getting results from these people so quickly.
Yep get your money back. At this point, that is what matters. Be
Yep get your money back. At this point, that is what matters. Besides, if you have no intention of suing them then whats it gonna hurt? 130 bucks is a lot of dough to me
