I'm from NJ. I just received a call from a collector threatening to have me arrested. Can I be arrested. He said that I needed to pay the loan in full within 2 days.

No, u can NOT be arrested and this is illegal for them to threaten u with arrest!
Now, can u plz give a little more information? What type of debt is this? how much? How long since u've paid on it?
With more information u can recieve loads of help here!
Good Luck,
Ang

Sorry, didn't get to finish what I was going to say...anyway, do report them if you. They cannot threaten to have you arrested and will not have you arrested. If they were going to do anything, they would possible try to get a judgement against you, but that takes some time and they have to go through procedures to do that. Just from what you said about them wanting the loan paid in full, I feel like you are talking about a payday loan. Please let us know what kind of debt this is, as Ang said, so we can help you a bit more.

I'm not telling you what to do but these out-of-state inernet pay day lenders don't have a leg to to stand on (assuming that's what all your loans are). So if you wanted, you could ignore their calls, and just walk away from your loans and the worst they could do was report it on your credit report.
