So i finally decided to get some sanity back in my life and enrolled with CareOne Credit counceling for debt consolidation. They seem to take very kind of Debt and i checked them out on BBB, they seem like a credible company unless anyone in here knows something that i dont. I would love to hear your input on them.

They will take:
medical bills
Credit card bills
Collection Items
Dept. Store cards
and ofcourse my favorite, PayDay Loans.

They pulled my credit report and believe it or not, This is what i owe. Hopefully my credit will get clean so i can finally get a grip on life again.

Your input on this company is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Grace

Careone has a vast network with many offices in different areas. They may be a reputed business but there were some unsatisfied consumers in the records because their settlement plan didn????????t work out. Make sure that you have researched the company in your area. Check with the DA's office and the BBB for their feedbacks.

I have gone through them twice and have completed the program. They are very professional and give online easy access to your account where you can view your account. Never had a problem with payments late or lost. THey were always on time and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Hi Rob

Its really good to hear that you are satisfied with the services provided by Careone. :D Iam saying this because most of them just want to bully you; its really difficult to get right guidance from such credit counseling agencies. They are not interested in your debts; they just want to squeeze some money out of you. Thus making your situation worse from bad.

I am considering CareOne service but I don't understand why the will not send me a contract by mail. they insist that they work exclusively on line.

does care one own this site? it sounds like a bunch of employees making it sound good. there is lots of companies that can do all the same . i follow all these post and the most ignorant way to judge a company is the b.b.b( pay to play) go to "bbb round up" to find out how worthless the bbb is

If you sign up for the DMP they will NOT do payday loans. I was on their DMP for 2 years and had no problems. I have not heard good things about their debt settlement plan though, however you have to realize that no debt settlement company can guarantee results and they tend to be costly...that is why I would recommend trying to do it yourself for FREE!!

I am still with Careone and the people couldn't be nice. That's all i want really is someone to be nice to me. I'll work out the debt on my own.

After alot of research and soul searching, we joined Care One in January. CESI is the affiliate that handles our account.
They have been very up front and answered my questions whenever I called them. Our only problem is a Macy's account. They have harassed me at work and even called somewhere in India or Pakistan etc, at 8;00 am on a Sunday morning. We were told that we were 3 months past due and that they never received a payment until March 1, even though they did accept our proposal. They were paid by the due date and have been giving me a run around. Finally spoke to someone in collections who spoke English without an Asian accent. Asked how much I could afford to pay. Told them $21 a month. He told me that if I paid that for 36 months the account would be paid off. Told them that my credit report saids that I am past due altleast 60 days. He claims that he can't do anything to help remedy the situation.
I know that my FICO score would suffer, but this does not help and he claims that he can not do anything to help resolve this. Checked my statements from CareOne from Feb on and they reflect payment on time for the due date. Tired of getting the run around from Macy's. After they receive August payment, I will call collections again. Macy's claimed that CareOne did not pay on time and this changed the proposal. Before I was in CareOne, they put me into collections when I was five days late with a payment.

I have to say I am about to enter into a Debt Management Program, but I'm having sort of a difficult time deciding which one. It really makes me nervous, but I know this is the best option for. I really don't want to have to deal with the creditors myself. I know I'll be paying a small monthly payment, which according to CESI will be around $30, but they are saying they can cut my payments from around 650 to 400, plus I'm paying less than half the interest rate. The guy at CESI has really impressed me so far ... very nice, and when I stacked his terms up against a competitor, he told me flat out what CESI could do, but then he said, "hey if you can get better terms somewhere else, go for it, because the top priority is you getting out of debt the best way possible." I figured he was gonna get all weird on me and try to bully me out of going with someone else, but he was quite respectful about it all. I think part of the problem people are having is that they are indebted to companies that aren't as willing as others to negotiate. My issues are with BOA and Discover, which CESI says they deal with more than any other companies, so hopefully I shouldn't have any trouble. Anyone here ever deal with Money Management, Inc?
