how to fix mine and my wifes credit

I ran a credit app from annualcreditreport.com for my wife and I. Since than we were sent at least two "Appear in Court" papers recently.I have talked to my boss to help on the first one that we got. He has payed off the first one for us,but in return he is deducting the amount out of my pay check weekly.He metion that the next time that we get one that we need to work it out on are own.That was before we got the second one.which show up tonight 7/22/07. I want to payoff want I owe before they decide to send more.What do we do? I found this web site by seaching for information about "lvnv funding llc" which is on my wifes credit report.We dont know what it is for. And also "PALISADES" another one that we dont know what is it for.
