Here is the contact info for MTE:

MTE FINANCIAL
15 G S.E.
MIAMI, OK 74355
phone: 1-866-213-0268
fax: 1-866-539-7503
email:compliancedepartment@mtefs.com

First and foremost, though, can you give us the following info, and we might be able to offer you some advice to help you get through this - you may have already overpaid on your payday loans:

-state you live in
-what lenders you are dealing with
-how much you borrowed from each lender
-how much you have paid back on each loan
-whether the lenders are internet or storefront based

With that info, we can help you understand your state laws regarding payday lending, and help you figure out if you've overpaid on these loans and should start asking for them to be marked paid in full!

:-)

MTE Financial is affiliated with Rio Resources. Check their other DBA names in this link below

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/settlement/about14929.html

If you can prove that MTE did an unauthorized debit, dispute the charges with your bank. They will investigate with the pdl company and verify the charges. If it????????s not proved, your bank will revert the charges to your account

I borrowed 300$ from MTE Financial. They said they would take 90$ from my account for 4 paydays, OK that was done.loan paid off. Then the next payday they took 140$ out of my account. which means they owe me 140$

Jeffrey....most often the way an internet payday company works is: they take out $90 every payday as the Fee for the loan...then after so many (like 4 payments) they will begin to take the fee + some money toward to actual principle...most often if the lender is not licensed this means you are over paying according to most state laws. If you can tell us what state you are in...and how much exactly theyhave taken for the loan we can give you some suggestions in how to handle this.

When you took out the loan they should/would have emailed you a "contract" that spells out what their payments are...there also would be a telephone number for customer service listed if they do not have a web site. Can you tell us what company you are dealing with? Maybe someone here has also and can give you some insight.

vicky, have you done anything regarding your bank account? These guys have your bank account information. They have debited your account $675.00 too much. They are unlicensed/illegal in the United States. Also, you reside in a state where pdls are prohibited. I am going to post your state pdl law so that you can see it. I am also going to post something regarding closing your bank account. You do not want to keep the same bank account with these illegal people knowing your information, okay? And, yes, we can send these guys a letter (we can help you with this) and we can file complaints against them with the government agencies. First I'm going to post your state law so you can see they are prohibited. Then I'm going to post the information regarding closing your bank account and opening a new one. Read this information. If you have any questions, just post them. We can help you with this. :D

klc, my bank was the same way. Go in and rather than close it at the very moment, ask them to put a hard debit block/hard hold/freeze on it. Tell them NOTHING is to go through. No ACH debits, no checks, not even YOU can use it. It will still be an open account; however, NOTHING will go through. And no NSF fees should be accrued. Everything should be returned. Do you have another bank account already, so that you will have a working bank account that you can use?

I too have them taking money out of my account and I did get one number but it is automatic. I emailed everyday darn company listed under mte whatever and warned them I would stop payment if they tried again, I have no paperwork or anything that says I agreed to a loan from them. I applied but I never received anything in the form of a loan agreement as I did with other companies. So "screw them", I bet them will contact me now. If this doesn't work I will close that account and open another one. NO NOE TAKES MY MONEY AS THEY CHOSE.

Donna, you have an MTE related pdl? But, you're unsure of which d/b/a it was under? It should tell you next to the debits the name of the company they are using. I can give you MTE's information; however, if it's one of their d/b/a's, it'll be a different address/phone. Also, please know that MTE and all of their d/b/a's are completely unlicensed/illegal. Here is MTE's information:

MTE Financial Services
Phone: (866) 213-0268
Fax: (866) 539-7503
Address: 515 G S.E.
Miami, OK 74355

If you can tell me which d/b/a they are using, I can get the information on them. The majority of the time, MTE will claim they "are not" who they are. So, if you can find out which name they are using when debiting, I can get you the address and phone number. :D

Is it saying "Nebraska National Banking Conference" when you call? I just called it and that's the recording I got. I got that telephone number for MTE straight from the BBB website. What the hell? Is there a phone number next to the name on your debits on your bank statement?

I did a Google search and found this phone number and fax number:

Phone - 866-539-7504
Fax - 866-539-7503

I called the telephone number and the recording came on with no name (not a surprise for a pdl) and said "Welcome to customer service. In order to access your account information, please enter your social security number." So.... this might be a correct phone number.

Went back to the BBB site and put in 866-539-7504. It comes up as Quickest-Cash-Advance, which is one of MTE's d/b/a's.

Went back again to the BBB site and put in 866-213-0268 and it comes up as MTE Financial Services.

Now, this may mean that MTE changed their phone number, which is NOT a surprise for a pdl to do.

Just wanted to let you know I checked and that's what I came up with.

Call Intercept EFT at 1-800-378-3328. I believe that is the ACH processor for any of their dbas, it doesn't make a difference. Ask for the processing department and they will be able to insure there are no ACH attempts on your account. Revoke authorization with them and explain how their client has abused you. I believe that will work. If that is not the correct processor, contact your bank and ask them for the processor information. Please let us know how that works out. Good luck.

Absolutely. The bank actually does not have the information of MTE, only the processor. The processor, on the other hand, has a financial arrangement with MTE. MTE chooses, when they set up their account with the processor, what they would like displayed on bank statements of...ahem..."customers". The bank only deals with processors and will be able to give this information readily. The processor is a very legitimate company and easily contacted. They will turn over MTE. From that point, be certain to maintain contact with the processor as well as MTE. You'll keep them in line.

Hey cannr. . .the bank will know the originator of the loan, which probably is the bank. The bank can be very helpful, or at least mine was once I knew what to ask for. I wish I had of had this info sooner, it could have saved me a bunch of time. Google ACH Processors and you will probably come up with Intercept EFT and ACH Commerce, now Moneygram. I have the numbers for both Intercept EFT and ACH Commerce if anyone needs them.

Also, if you call one of the processors, just ask them if they process for a particular PDL. They will look up the info based on the info they have on your closed account. You will not have to give them any info on your current accounts. They will be able to give you a tracking number of the debits. FYI. . .Intercept EFT processes for UsFastCash and ameriloan. ACH Commerce processes from PayDayMax and MyCashNow. They were the ones I was interested in so I was able to confirm with them for processing purposes. As for Star, I am still working on them.

If I did get a contract it probably went into my spam folder and then got deleted. I don't know what to do. Can someone help??
