Still getting calls from Bass and Associates

Send them a certified letter return receipt demanding that they cease and desist all communication with you by any other method other than the USPS in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Have you sent them a debt validation letter yet?

No, could you so kindly direct me as to how to send a debt validation letter? Is there also a formatted letter to cease all communication?

Send it through certified mail with return receipt requested and keep a copy in your records. It will help to prove your actions if they violate the law by calling you further. You can also check your state laws and record their phone calls. This will also build up a legal case against them. Keep a track of the date, time and the number of calls done by the person from Bass and Associates.

Please also contact Florida Attorney General at http://www.myfloridalegal.com/ He has a active lawsuit to shut them down and recoup monies for consumers.

Follow cajun's advice, because the Florida AG is seeking restitution. Also, if I were contacted by Bass, I'd refer them to the Attorney General of Florida vs. Bass Prelitigation, et al.
