Hi. I hope to find some help here with my credit card debts
Date: Sat, 08/11/2007 - 11:32
Glad I found this site... with all my problems i hope i can find help.. I have 4 credit cards only one is not late only because it is taken out of my pay every month--the others are about 3 months behind ..had to put money together to pay my mortgage and fell behind with my payments. my credit score is around 430 and i really need a 4000 loan to catch up and get all my bills in order...but of course....
So now i have to find other ways to get my score back up ... Are there any grants out there that the average person can get that dont require that you have to write a million letters written the RIGHT way> I know there has to be something out there somewhere.....
Thanks
pat

As far as getting a loan right now, I believe you are going to find that your credit score is too low to obtain one - but I'm sure you're aware of that, from your post above. (Many of us are in the same boat here - we came here with debt/credit issues and have been working on rebuilding our scores - so you are not alone!)
I am not aware of any grants available to pay off credit card debt - I think your best bet may be to either contact the companies and work out a payment arrangement with them, or to consider debt consolidation or settlement. If you signed up for the free consultation when you registered with our site, you will receive a phone call from a consultant who will offer you a program that may help. Please understand you are under no obligation to use their services - you may seek help with another debt consolidation or settlement agency, or use our DIY section to work out your debts on your own.
Please keep us posted on your progress, and ask any questions you may have! We're here to help! :-)
Your credit scores will not be evaluated if you consider a debt
Your credit scores will not be evaluated if you consider a debt management program. This plan will be helpful in catching up with all the payments with your credit card companies. Talk to a dmp company for your options. They will analyze your income and expenses and figure out how much you will be able to afford each month. Then, they will send the proposals to the creditors and a payment plan will be set for you each month. Get yourself enrolled in this program you won????????t have to take a new loan for paying the existing debts. You will soon be on your way to a debt free life.
