Cash advance services is where i got the loan through which is also listed as NLS which is what is showing up on my bank statement. If you go to the CAS website it lists GR Enterprises as the Licensed Lender. When I searched the address on this site i got an address in Bellevue, WA. I am so new at this i probably have no CLUE WHAT I AM LOOKING for just want to see what i can find...At the CAS website, it will list the states that they CAN NOT lend to but my state (oregon) was not listed. Is that going to make a difference?

Finally figured out how to do a license search..Cash Advance Services and GR Enterprises are not listed in the State of Washington.

No it shouldt....many PDL's lend to states they are not allowed to so having Oregon on the list that they DO lend to wont matter....unless we find a license for them.

Any luck finding GR Enterprises in the OR database?

Ah ok..so they are saying they are ALLOWED to lend in OR? I am following now.

Until we can find a license, there is nothing other than their word (which holds little to no credibility) that says they are, by law, allowed to lend.

I could not find anything listed in the State of Washington on either cash advance service or GR Enterprises. I am still search the yellow pages.

Well I hit a dead end. Doubled checked with oregon to see if they were licensed and nothing comes up. Looked under GR Enterprises, National's Cash Advance & Pay day loans and Cash Advance Services.

I wrote down the address that i found on this site. will wait and see if i received email from them. Most likely won't hear anything until Tuesday.

Took a break and came back and tried again. Looks like the address i have matches other places like PayDayMax, my cash now and some others..

Forgot to mention, I printed up a bunch of technical info that i think computer smart people (of which I am NOT) can understand. would that be helpful to anyone?

white, okay, you're doing a lot of searching! Are you to the point now to where you're not showing this place as licensed in any of these states? You've checked the licensee databases of each state and they do not come up? If that's the case, they're most likely not licensed. I'm just making sure I'm following you here. Also, what kind of "technical info" are you talking about that you found?

Hopefully i can expain this without tripping all over myself. the address i have that i researched is in Bellevue, WA. It matches up with the likes of Payday max and the others i mentioned. i went to washington and oregon to see if they were licensed and nothing comes up. i have emailed the state of WA since that is the address where this place is located. The problem that I have is that the $$ that are being deducted from my bank are from NLs and when it is research it comes up with numerous PDLS PAYDAYMX, and such. so i don't know what company to write too. the technical info gives domain name "whois agent" of which i don't know what that is. Billing contact Ph# which is not a TF# and fax # which is not TF# when i reached this place, paydaymax, 1888payday and others all take you to the same place. There is no address listed. Okay, I looked. That looks like one of the sites where you apply and there are numerous pdls that will lend to you. Crap. So we can't narrow it down by looking at that. We need to know WHICH pdl gave you the loan. The debits coming out of your account are NLS? Does it have a telephone number associated with it?

white, I think it was the site having problems last night. I was "booted off" too! :lol: If you call the number, see if they'll give you any information. A lot of pdls will not even give their name, let alone an address. They are very tricky that way. See if you get anywhere with them. You can post the phone number and we can do a search on it if you already haven't and see if anything comes up.

I searched this site and then did a search on the Web and when it "pops" up it gives a list of numerous PDLs which all are under the same address.

Since i have no documentation on the loan I took out, i have no way of contacting these people. I am stuck...I have all the other letters written up and ready to go. and will do everything at one time. BBB, fax to PDLS and AG office. Don't want to do it too early for fear that they may try and go into bank acct. and try to get $$ early. I don't trust them to not try somehting dirty.

The address I posted is what the BBB has for that phone number. And, you're right. Do not send any letters out to anyone until your bank account is straight. If any pdls catch wind that you're even thinking about closing/blocking the account, they will come at it like vultures and try to suck out every dollar they possibly can. I'm still a little confused about the address; however, that's what the BBB shows for that telephone number.

Strange..but from what i read in the CFA Report, not an uncommon tactic of these places. I will keep you posted when i hear from them. Though I will be hearing from all of them at the end of the month. Will filter them all out and post what i find out.

Right you are Cannr.. The more research I do the more dirt (to keep it clean) i come up with.. At the end of the month is when I will start getting all the nasty grams and will keep everyone informed of what is going on...

I have not paid anything toward the loan itself..WHen I had them extended I paid $320.00 on Arrowhead, and about $160 on B@L Marketing. I live in Columbus OHio. The loans a piece were only $200. What should I do?

I DO have a question ( if anyone wants to 'take a shot'). What can these 'collectores' do, if they don't get theit payments....especially when they are asking payment for something illegal? I had gotten a call from a ( I believe this is correct) Richard Bergess ( not sure of the spelling). Actually.the call came from his 'rep'.....stating i owed on past due PDL. The PDL is still outstading, however, the oustanding debt is more than 2 years old now. It seemed like the 'rep' was 'urging' me to 'verify' information on myself. I din't know WHO these people were...you REALLY think i was gonna tell them my 'life story?' Anyway....she said I wasn't 'being cooperative' ( no DAH!!)...and said they would have a Sheriff at my house within hours. This was, about, 3 months ago now. GOD..what a pain!

PDLs are not obligated to tell you if they are licensed in a particular state. but did say that they may tell you they are licensed in a certain state when in fact they are not.

True. This is why we try to find addresses of these idiots and then search to see if they're even licensed in the state their address is in. There are pdls that use a license in another state to do business legally. It's totally amazing. That's why we try to search as much as we possibly can to see if they're licensed/legal. It's like trying to find your way through a maze! :shock:

if you listed this debt in your bankruptcy and you filed give the address to your attorney.they are not allowed to contact you once you have filed.

yeah..if you have filed...i wouldnt even deal with them...you should tell them to call your attorney and that you have filed...if they call you after that they can get in alot of trouble...not that they probably care...but i would just have your attorney handle it...that is what you are paying him for.

I'm glad I found this site. All of the information and responses all of you have replied to each other with will greatly help me as my wife just found out that PDM just withdrew from her account $175 she knew nothing about. She did stop payments from her bank from 2 other companies she never authorized contracts/transactions with. One of them, after the stop payment notice, immediately sold their debt to another collection company who has contacted my wife. We can only guess this must be due to the other company and their unauthorized contract/transaction. As someone else stated, "Here we go...".
