When you signed up here did you ask for the free debt counseling? If not go to the free counseling link and you will be contacted by a highly rated professional that can help you. Do you have any payday loans out?
You must find out who ER is collecting for and for how much and then send them a debt validation letter and a cease and desist letter. There is a good free cease and desist letter on the site that I gave you and also on the do it yourself link on this site.

I had pdl's out before, but I have since paid what I borrowed and the one time interest rate since pdl's are illegal in my state. I've gone through a debt settlement company as far as the credit card debt that I have.

Hi there. Have they sent you any correspondence in the mail? Hopefully they will because I think that the correspondence has to state for whom they are collecting. Then you will also have a mailing address to send them a validation letter and cease and desist letter. Make sure you send it certified return receipt so that they can't say they didn't receive it. Oops. Sorry about that one. My 8 month old thought she would help me type. hahaha I have not received anything in the mail yet from anyone. With the pdl's I received a letter stating that they wanted a new bank account number and that was from Westbury Ventures, but as I stated before we have already paid them all they are getting. It was only a $300 loan and I think we paid back something like $360. Once I found out that they were just taking money whenever and in whatever amount I decided it was time to pull the plug.
