Has anyone got a call from them? They called me about three weeks ago at work. I told her I was with Langhorne law and gave her there number. I also Called langhorne. Well LAst night she called my referances. I called her back and she said she's been calling me ( a lie because I had no messages from her) How can I make sure she does not call My referances again?
Thanks
Cindy

Tendollar payday is MTE. Very illegal and not licensed anywhere. It was not a law firm calling you (or your references). I would ask for their address and tell them you are going to report them to your state's Attorney General, FTC and every other agency you can think of.

Also tell them you are going to record the call. That will get their goat.

So they are MTE. Funny this is I have 2 other MTE loans and they have not even called me. I've been with Langhorne for about 2 months now and Only am hearing from this lady. I had reported them back in July to the Attorney General and the FTC and BBB but in the name of ten dollar payday. Could I report them as the LAw office of NOrman??

MTE will always deny being who they are. Cannr is an expert on this subject. I also have two loans with Oneclickcash and United Cash loans that are in default (even though I overpaid them by significant amounts) and I haven't heard a word yet either, but I did send them several strongly worded letters and e-mails telling them not to contact me by phone, and that I was reporting them.

When this "law firm" calls you again, first thing is to tell her you "Hold on, I am going to record this call". She'll probably hang up, but if she doesn't, tell her you want her address, phone number, license number, etc.

If she does give you this info (which I'm sure she won't), post it here and we will help you out at that point.

Email them the letters too...in addition to faxing and mailing and make sure is specifies also not calling your references.

Not sure what they expect to accomplish by calling the references other thatn trying to upset you. If they try to collect from your references or reveal informaiton with regard to the debt to your references, now we've got a whole other issue there.

Oh, cindy. Sounds like MTE may have turned you over to a nice illegal collection company. "Law office". Oh sure. A nice illegal pdl is going to turn your account over to a "law office". cindy, when they call again, I would personally not take the call. However, if you want to get them off your back, take the call, tell them you are aware they are an unlicensed/illegal company and are continuing to break the law and to contact Langhorne Debt. They will probably still call your sisters. They are already illegal. Why would they stop being illegal now? They won't. So they'll probably call. However, my point here is that you are paying Langhorne for their services. They need to handle this. This is why you are paying them. So you are no longer harrassed or have to deal with these pdl's. If you talk to the illegal people again, tell them to call Langhorne and hang up. Then you also need to call Langhorne and tell them to call this "place" and handle it. You're paying them to do this, cindy.

You go, cindy! :D I'm glad Langhorne has already spoken with them. That's why you're giving them money! And, you go on with filing those complaints against these idiots! If you need anything else, just ask!!!!

It's Queen,
I have these suckers calling me every frecken day
at work for a month now. I finally had the time to call the Fla. Offices of Finance and the company Accredited Collection Agency is licensed and is registered in the state of florida. I looked up in the bar for Jersey and no license # from the Law offices of Norman G Kalina. Would like from someone
in NJ to go to these offices. Who is cash advance net?

queen, I googled cash advance net and found their website. Apparently a payday loan site. However, what I found funny is that they state they do not lend to Florida. Is this who this so-called law office is collecting for? I got the phone number off their website of 1-877-995-1400. If this so-called law office is trying to collect on this particular pdl, tell them you want debt validation. If this is indeed who they are collecting for, they are not supposed to lend to Florida residents.

queen, yes, do call them. If they are licensed/legal, you may want to ask them exactly who they are collecting for. If it is indeed who we think it is, you may want to inform them that this pdl is not to lend in Florida. Which to me means they can not collect on this debt. Please let me know what they say.
