I am a foodie...I love talking about food, reading about food, watching it on TV and of course consuming food. About mid-day I start thinking of what I am going to have for dinner.

So tell us, whats for dinner tonight in your home?

I have been watching ALOT of TV the past three weeks...no mention of it. I did however witness Paula Dean cooking with some really hot men. I am not sure who some of them were but heck...I did not care...Don't know what she cooked either  I am happy to see this thread back. I have made many creative meals thanks to all of you. LMK...love salmon and have to try that. My #4 son eats mostly seafood as well. He is not a big meat eater..never has been. Went to visit our friends from Italy while we were in FL last week....I ate and ate....the best part was the cannoli's. The filling was the best! They gave me a dozen to take home...needless to say they did not make it.

PS: as I am sitting here typing, I smell something burning..go into the kitchen and looked at the stove, forgot I had a pan of water on to make tea, boiled the water out and burned the pan....now I have to go hide it and light some scented candles before hubby finds it..I will NEVER hear the end of this

LOL Roxy!! Gosh, I missed you!

That pig seems happy as a clam on her show...The guys at work always have it on. What I don't understand, is why are there always animals on there? I thought it was a cooking show! She always has a fashion consultant, too. She needs one, I'm tired of seeing her back fat.

Back to Mrs.Yummo....I watched one of her shows "Tasty Travels" and she dragged her husband along to Peru I believe it was...I say "dragged" because he looked like he hadnt showered or shaved in days...and while she sat there doing her commentary about the food, he was quietly feeding his face not saying a word. When she would ask him something, like "Honey dont you agree?", he would just shrug.

Oh my...I have to comment on lunches at work. We have a jerk that has a jinormous cooler that takes up half of the fridge. He pushes it all over the bottom shelf and crushes everyone elses lunches. We kept taking it out and putting it on the floor..It's a COOLER for Pete's sake, but he put a nasty note on it threatening us if we moved it again.

You guys have Quiznos where you are? Nasty, overpriced processed sandwiches. Anyway, they have a new line of "sammis". Yummo would be proud.
