Flaming Chicken Hot Legs! I have this silly T Shirt that says that! It has a picture of a Chicken running across some flames. On the bottom it says "So hot you'll be begging for more. Regular or extra crispy."
I don't think there is an actual business with that name. I have a bunch of tees that say stuff like Blue Moon Drive In. Made up businesses. Tonight I am going to try to create Flaming Chicken Hot Legs! Yes you are right, I lost it a long time ago!

I will be having a big ole bowl of "Cap. Crunch" for dinner tonight. My daughter will not be home, so....
Kids get mad at me for eating cereal, but I don't mind. When it is just me or they don't want to eat, hey it is quick, easy to make and easy clean up! LOL Needless to say, I eat a LOT of cereal.

Paul, I am not against fish...I just like freesh fish, not the fozed breaded square stuff...and I hate the smell. Calalmarie is one of my all time favorites. I have never been able to master cooking it. It usually comes out as vhewy as a rubber band  . Besides, where I live you can not get it at any store. My dad used to make tuna casserole every friday and we would eat it firday and saturday nights for the two years my mom went to school. I can not even think about it. I am suprised my sister and I never grew gills. Hubby and Son love it and tuna fish but I just can not bring myself to eat it. Big time burn out.

The trick to Calamari is that is has to be fried at an very hot temperature for a very short time. I have a stove top commercial fryer that goes on the burner and has a basket the sits above a deep aluminum pot on an arm. I heat the oil to around 370 degrees drop in the basket and remve as soon as the first sign of gold appears. It takes around 30 seconds. If you are lucky enough to get it fresh not previously frozen that is better. When I lived in NJ at the shore I would go to the Point Pleasant Co-op. One time the woman actually went into the hold on the fishing trauler and got it for me. How is that for fresh! It is really easy to clean!

Frog, I have had my friend who is a chef work with me and I finally gave up. Cooking in my mind is as much and art as playing an instrument or painting or drawing...Not everyone has the gift. I will do all the dishes and clean the entire kitchen...that is my specialty. I am a great helper. I like the "steaks" lightly breaded with a balsamic rduction..that is how my friend makes it.

I love you too!

For anyone that doesn't know, I was very, very sick and almost died. I couldn't eat anything for 2 months without getting sick. It got to the point where I couldn't even keep water down. So now I am really enjoying food again! I haven't gotten sick after eating for one week today!

Today breakfast is orange juice and cheez its!

Sassy, You had your dairy, fruits and vegetabels and grains. Sounds healthy to me! I can not tell you how many times I have used left over fajita stuff and salsa with eggs for breakfast. The nachos would finish if off nicely. We eat lots of cereal as snacks rather than chips and cookies.
