Does anyone know who 302-282-8004 belong to? I got a call tonight from them, but I missed it. When I called back it just answers "Card Services"...but for who? I didn't ask.

I called againto 302-282-8004 & I got a weird announcement...said "This office is now closed" & gave the hours. The lady had an Indian accent (as did the guy who answered the call the few times I called back but hung up before I said anything). At the end of the message it said "Thank you for choosing Chase for all your needs"

I'll call tomorrow the main number. I just entered into a debt consolidation program but didn't tell Chase yet.

Pretty sure 302-282-8004 is of Chase's; other numbers associated with them are 407-771-0887, 407-771-0978, 604-495-2468, if it helps. They are very persistent.

Thanks Anon! I was getting calls from 407-771-0887 then it switched to the 302-282-8004 number.

Since I told them yesterday that I was in a debt consolidation program, they didn't call at all.

Well, they've been calling me from 302-282-8004 all weekend. About every 4 hours from the 302 number. I think its because I'm coming close to my payment due date 10/8 (monday). I'm going to give my consolidation company a call & what to do about Chase. I'm definately going to ask them if they can call Chase & tell them I'm in a program. The counselors say it can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks from when they send the proposal to hear back-4 weeks puts me at 10/23 and my payment is due by 10/28. I'm not worried. Just annoyed that Chase is being a jerk. Discover was nice enough to take a verbal ok on this & now calls the creditors.

I called my consolidation company & they said that the proposal went out (like they said). Even if they call, the collection calls will still happen. Sometimes the companies (like Discover) will call the consolidation company. Some won't until the proposal has been received & accepted & the creditor gets their money. What the consolidation company will do is call the creditors after they get my payment & work on negotiating with them (I guess the money is a bargaining tool). I do have to fax to them my bills for Chase & Discover so they can see the interest rates & fees on the account.

I feel a little better today. Just a little worried because today was my due date with Chase & I didn't send them anything. They called onyl 3x today...the last call was at 3pm.

I am also receiving calls from 302-282-8004 7 days per week starting at 8am every 4 hours. I finally answered and this is CHASE - as noted in prior posts. They are located in INDIA. I have a zero balance with a $10,000 credit limit. I have no idea why they are calling. I found this topic when I googled the telephone number. I have filed a complaint with the Atty Generals office for my state and am looking into other agencies because I feel it's harrassment. We're also on the Do Not Call Registry so if it's for sales, then they shouldn't be calling. We're also on their do-not-market-to program, whatever they term it and same - they shouldn't be calling.

302-282-8004 - The calls are coming from INDIA they are routed through a US number located in Delaware. They are not based in the US. This has been confirmed with the phone company and Attorney General's office for the state of Delaware.

Thank you for posting this number, 302-282-8004. I'm late on a payment for my chase credit card and they called me 3 times within a half hour. I will have to go make this payment now although it's really annoying when they call and call and don't bother to leave a message to who it is and why. I wish people would do that.

302-282-8004 called me today, but I missed the call. When I immediately called them back the person answer identified their company as chase bank. But then, they asked for my Social Security Number to look up my account. They are a fraud, credit card companies don't need to ask you that to pull your record up. They prefer you name and card number. But they really one need one or the other. They asked for both plus an account ID to make sure you are YOU say you are.

This is a phishing scam, they are trying to find people with Chase credit cards and scare them into giving them your credit card and social security numbers by saying you have a past due balance, among other things. I don't have a Chase card, and Chase doesn't operate this way even if you have a card and are past due. If this was a valid part of a bank operation, they would have your account number when they called, and no bank ever asks for your entire social security number for any reason. If you do happen to have a Chase card and are worried about it, call the valid number on the back of your credit card and they will be able to tell you that this is a scam.

302-282-8004: For those who don't know. This is from your student loan collectors - and they will never stop. The normal "do not call" laws do not apply to them, so count on them calling again and again and again. Also calling your neighbors, friends, people you just met once, and everyone else they can. Nothing you can do to stop them.

Just because THEY say they're Chase, doesn't mean they are chase. This is a scam operation. If you have outstanding bills from chase and they call you, it doesn't mean they're from chase, it means you're the type of coincidence they look for when they call random people all day. Call the number on your card when you need to deal with them, never give information on a phone call you didn't initiate.

I got a call from these people at 8:02 am Sunday morning. I got home at 4:00am. After yelling at Him oh "It the wrong number". The and he blamed my phone company for placing TeleMarketing on my caller ID and the person from India Claims its not trying to deceive anyone. If it is Chase Why is it employing another country citizens when our tax dollars were used to Bail them out so they did not go Bankrupt.

I think you should call back and do the detailed enquiry that for whom the call was also what was the purpose of call. May be the call was not for you and by mistake they called you. You should do the detailed enqiry about it.

Otherwise if it not seems to be very serious you should ignore the call and wait if you get another call from them so that you can avoid the call back unnecessary.
