I am new this this forum so I hope some of you experienced veterans can help me out. I signed up with Langhorne debt solutions today and was told that I should inform my bank as soon as possible to stop all ACH transactions on my account and change my account numbers. Has anyone ever done this before? If so how did it work out for you?

Thanks in advance

They won't cease debiting your account, in fact they will probably debit as much as they can - now that you have told them this, you need to close out that account and open a new one somewhere else. Your account will NEVER be safe now that they have your account information.

I have been told the same thing. Then they say payoff only the principal. How do you do that later via check? I would not want them to have my account number.
