I have abnout 7 payday loans, i'm trapped paying them off, they suck my entire pay every month and dotn leave anything over for rent and car payments. Isnt there some way to consolidate them into one? sureely someone can help. I'm drowing - i got one to help with my car breaking down and then had to take another and another and another. Its terrible, and the worst part is i'm not evening touching the principle amount its all finance fee's. Its surely my fault for doing it in the first place, but i really do need help. the fee's are 30 dollars per every 100 taken out. and those are taken out every two weeks, so i'm paying twice a month.

I have the following loans out:
500 fast cash: 300
Apollo loans: 250
Emerald Marketing: 300
CPS Loans:250
Fox Eterprises:250
USA Payday Loan:250
Zip Cash:250
One Step Cash:250

i got that one take care of, now i have someplace called united processing calling my work, they left a message stateing that they are starting legal proceedings and that i need to get an attorney. they're number is: 954-237-6824 - i've never heard of them i'm assuming its a collections company, should i call them back?

roxy, you're right, my friend. These are the guys that threaten "arrest" and "warrants" and claim they are the frigging FBI. nm, if they start throwing all this illegal threatening crap at you, do not be alarmed. They are insane.

NM, they can not arrest you. It is their favorite scare tatic. That is why I posted that information to this thread earlier. I have seeen so many members scared to death by them. I did not want you to worry when they made their threats. If they call again, tell them to come and get you. You will be waiting and hang up.

thank you roxy :) well i jsut popped out and mailed the letter to UP, i made sure to send it certified and get a return receipt. so hopefully in a week or so they will stop - its jsut so upsetting to have some one say that, i've never even had a parking ticket. lol you would think ppl would be better humans that to upset someone to that level.

nm, they think they're going to SCARE you by sending it to some idiot collection agency! Spooky, huh? Send the debt validation letter since this is a collection agency. Let them validate an illegal debt.

Funny... :? I called the first number and it just rang and rang. Then I called the second number and it buzzes like it's not a "good number". So I googled the idiots. Here's what comes up:

Phoenix debt management
7007 NE Parvin Rd
Kansas City, MO 64117
(816) 413-9000

And, get this, the number on this one (816-413-9000) is a FAX NUMBER!

It looks like this second address is a physical address rather than a PO Box, which could be a good thing. And, I called the phone number associated with it and it squeals in my ear like a fax. Hell, I love sitting here dialing numbers from work to find out who people are! LOL!

Huh? They never heard of you? Whatever. Just keep that letter in case they DO decide they've "heard of you". Keep it, keep it, keep it.

nm, the game gets REAL old after awhile; however, you're doing the right thing. Just keep sending the same letter to them over and over. I know it's boring and old and tiresome. But you will have documentation that you have been contacting them & maybe one day they'll actually acknowledge your emails.

nm, you mean the pdl law for Wisconsin? I'm thinking that's what you mean. So I'm posting the Wisconsin state pdl law for you to see. :D

Whatever state nm was in when the pdls were taken out would be the state nm has to "stick" with. We have one member who had pdls taken out in one state, then moved to another state and had pdls taken out. We had to separate each pdl according to what state the member was in during each pdl. So, each pdl had to be handled differently according to the state pdl law where the member was when it was taken out. Talk about confusing!

NM,
I lived in Florida when I took out two loans and then moved to NJ and took out other PDL's. I had to use the Fl law for the two loans I had in FL and the NJ law for the other loans I took out. IN both cases the AG's office in both states were cooperative . Now, I filed compliants with the BBB in the states the PDL's where located and I file compliants with the Federal Trade Commission on all of them, just for good measure. 8)

nm, I found this on another thread after doing a search on the name. Sounds pretty darn spooky to me. Put in United Pay Services in the search box in the right hand corner and read some threads about these illegal people. I'm posting just one of the items I came across:

thank you cannr - its hard to believe that these ppl can still operate. the loan from apollo turned me over them them and from another email it looks liek they turned me over to ais also, so its kinda like trying to collect twice, plus on the second email where they say my account has been turned over to ais, they say that my original account was with ftp processing, which is odd cause i've never heard of them. i'm trying to get these letters out to everyone who might possibly be collecting as it were. I'll report united pay to the bbb.

From the other posts I read regarding United Pay Services, it's some kind of scam. They make you pay money and it doesn't even go towards the pdl. Good Lord! Now you have 8 million different collection agencies saying they have your account. Wonderful. Have you been contacted by the actual collection agencies? Or is the pdl just "saying" you have been turned over? (Because I have dealt with AIS - crap!). If you have been contacted by a collection agency (or 10!), send them ALL a debt validation letter. We'll see who can validate the debt. Watch out for these collection agencies. AIS reported me to the credit bureaus. Had to kick and scream and dispute, but I did get it deleted.

well i've been contact by unitedpay thats when they claimed they were united processing - - i rec'd a letter from apollo paydayloan saying my account with "ftr processing" (who i've never heard of) had been turned over to AIS ( i havent heard from AIS)- I get emails or calls from OneStepCash every so often telling me they cant reach me and they're going to take the next step. I settled with one company and got a letter saying i dont owe them anything and i havent heard from the other co's at all, which is kinda weird since i offered 3 of them the rest of the prinicple money. Guess they dont want it? ohh i do keep getting calls from this number though at work and on my cell but no messages: 305-800-1000

That phone number looks familiar. It's a "bogus" number. I've seen it posted a lot. I'm glad to hear that one company has marked you as PIF. If you haven't heard from the others yet, just wait it out. They will contact you eventually. Until you hear or received something from AIS, FTR, or whoever they decide to turn your account over to, do nothing. When these "collection agencies" attempt to collect this debt, slap the debt validation letter on them.

my cash now - is driving me crazy, every email to them comes back as unsendable and now they're offering me a settlement offer thats 457 dollar settlement when the loan was only 400 dollars, I have already paid 341 in fee's and stuff and in my letter them offered them 59 dollars. which i think is all i owe them since that pays off the prinicple. this is crazy, if my mail cant reach them how is this supposed to work? i've already sent on formal letter through the mail in nov. and havnt gotten any response other than these emails telling me that my accont is being sent to further collections if i dont pay them in 10 days. I've found 4 addresses for these ppl i guess i'll send emails too all of them. Does anyone have a Fax number or diffrent email for them?? Has anyone had any experience with them?
