Need advise with payday loan mess

For a time Ive been reading some of the post in this forum and personally I would like to thanks all of you for the cooperation and information that I read in the threads.

Now with my situation

I reside in Arizona and just recently went to my local bank and with the help of the branch manager was able to put my account in a hard lock credit only status while this situation is resolve.

I have 5 internet payday loans

1.CASHNETUSA LOAN FOR $500 PAID $300 2.UNITEDCASHLOANS LOAN FOR $300 PAID $410
3.NATIONAL PAYDAYLOANS LOAN FOR $200 PAID $78
4.DISCOUNT ADVANCES LOAN FOR $250 PAID $105
5.MYCASHNOW LOAN FOR $360 PAID $0

Im so glad that Ive found this site, because my intentions were to obtain another loan but something told me that I need it to get this mess under control.

Now my questions are

1 What is my next step? I tried to call cashnetusa, and to my surprise they told me that the person in the collection department was on lunch and that they will call me back, I secured a cell phone so I can deal directly with these folks I intend to use e-mail and snail mail but Ive figure if they were going to harrass me might as well call my cell phone instead that my place of work. I also call discount advances and mycashnow that happens to be service by the same company, the person in the other end was sort of understanding until she told me not to worry that I could send the payment via moneygram to them this friday...fat chance of that. I want to break this cycle not continue with the same payment torture.

I have not contact cashcentral or unitedcashloans, I believe that no matter what, they will not agree to a payment agreement that is adequate and fair.

I know that in this board are very knowledgeble persons in this area, and I am respectfully requesting some counseling and advise about what step to take next.

Welcome, pep! Good job posting! :D Okay, I'm going to post your state pdl law. Looks as though they do allow three rollovers. However, some of your pdls are unlicensed/illegal. I do believe that CashNetUSA is licensed. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. I know you have tried to contact these pdls regarding paying them. However, as you'll find out, they won't be very cooperative most of the time. Especially the unlicensed/illegal ones. You've already done the first step by taking care of your bank account. Great job! You now have control over your money again. I know for a fact that United Cash Loans is not licensed/legal. And some people have had good luck with them, others have not. We can check on the other pdls you have listed to see if they are licensed/legal. But I wanted to at least respond to your plea for help and post your state pdl law for you and everyone to see. We can help you with this. We can get letters to your pdls regarding the loans, find out if they are licensed or unlicensed, etc. We can do this. Hang in there. I'm going to post your laws. Someone will verify if indeed CashNetUSA is licensed/legal. And we can check on the other ones. You have made the biggest step yourself already. You have your money. Hang in there, let me post this, and you will have assistance! :D

Thank you cannr for your quick response.

As I understand I should deal with cashnetusa first and try to arrange some kind of payment plan with them. I will do that first thing tomorrow.

Regarding the rest I am planning to e-mail and fax them to death this weekend. some of you have mentioned in prior post about some letter to send them. Will you be kind enough to pm some sample letters that i can use?

Also do I need to file my complaint with my state AG and BBB or with the pdl state of origin AG and BBB?

pep, yes, there is a letter you can use as an "example". Just tailor it to fit your particular needs. You can email it/fax it/mail it certified to the pdls. You can also file your complaints with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG. Some members file with both their state AG and the state AG that the pdl resides in. I have only filed with my state AG. In one instance, my state AG found it strong enough to forward on to the state AG of the pdl of whom sent me forms to fill out for them. So it's up to you if you want to file in both states. Do you know how to use the pm?

I am not sure about the pm cannr. I believe that i can send a message with the pm button at the bottom of the persons post, but I am not sure if I know how to retrieve the message.

I believe that I will start with my state AG and BBB, after I send the e-mail and faxes to the PDL,S.

cannr now that my loans are going into default and obviously the nastiness will start. Will you recommend not to contact the ilegal PDL,S after I have send them the letters or should I not bother to even contact them directly?

pepe...if yo look at the far side of the screen at the top there will be a line that says you have no messages or it will say you have 1..if you click on that it will take you to the message pm'd to you.

After sending letters...you can also file complaints with the BBB and the attorney general's office if they refuse to work with you...they will contact you one way or another...

pep, in answer to your question (sorry, had to go to bed last night!) do not contact the pdls. Send the letters to them. Then only communicate with them via email or USPS. They will try to contact you via telephone. Do not take the calls. You need everything documented. If you do get stuck on the phone with them, tell them you will only communicate via email or USPS and hang up. The calls will begin and they will start to drive you batty. However, they will taper off. Once they figure out you're not going to speak with them, they will more than likely resort to email. And if you file complaints, you might get responses from these pdls from the BBB. If you have any problems with pm or if volley was able to pm you, let me know. If you need an example letter, just post. :D

Thank cannr and volley, I just start sending faxes and follow your advise to only contact me by email and USPS.

What is funny about the situation is that I call Cashnetusa and they told me that I dont have a loan with them and after checking my bank records the loan was with Netcashusa...talking about been confused..hahaha.

Aparently their ilegal also in my states.

I am also Finding impossible to find fax numbers for
unitedcashloans, mycashnow, where can i find this fax numbers?

volley and cannr thank you so much for your help, you guys/gals are godsend, hopefully I can also served of assistance to others

Have a quick question. I tried to fax the sample letters that volley send me but the fax was not responsive. I dont know if the PDL Do this on purpose. Now I will try to mail the letters to them.

Could somebody tell me about Netcashusa not Cashnetusa. I am so confused with the names that I call Cashnetusa and they told me that I dont have a loan, and offer the "opportunity" to arrange a loan with them...Are they crazy?

Thanks Roxy, you guys/gals are awesome. I know that I might come across as a little desperate, but the reality is that I am. Im trying to deal with this situation as quick and correct as possible.

I am sending emails and faxing letters to the PDL,S with the sample letters that volley so kindly send me and since all my PDL,S are ilegal in my state I will send them a payment arrangement to paid only the principal in these loans

Now regarding the BBB and AG, I will file a complaint with each one of them in their state of origin. Tonight

I will work with those that are reasonable and will work with me, but with the rest I am not going to back down.
