I really needed a car, so i went to jd byrider and the story is i got a car...after a week it was in the shop, got fix, and won't you know it, it was back in the shop about 10 day later. it's fix, but now the transmission is going and so are the breaks...i found out i paid 10,200 for a 2000 ford and it's only worth about 3,000...i'm so upset, becasue i don't know who to contact since i found a site called Rip-off Report.com that has pages on this company that will steal your money by saying they lend good people money for a car, when in reality, CNAC (finance company)is jd byrider who gives you the car and you pay them back, about four times what's it worth. is there anyone i can contact that will tell me about laws on dealership that jack up the prices so high and take customers for a ride.

Hi Millie

Since this incidence has already taken place, it will be better to get in touch with the Office of Fair Trading or your local Trading Standards Office and discuss this problem.

Also there might some lenders' association in your area who will be willing to help you in this regard.

Millies

How long have you had the car since you've bought it. You need to start acting fast if you want to get any type of settlement on this. You may be out what you paid (as in monthly payments), but you can certainly turn the car back in. You might even be entitled some of the money back since you'll be turning the car back in as fixed.

Please act quick as some judges will only allow a certain period of time to prove these problems existed when you bought the car.

Your local BBB might even have the person directly you need to speak with. Company phone number and name...etc.

Let us know what you find out. If you have time now, start making those phone calls. I watch Judge Judy enough to know these type of judges only allow a certain "grace period".
