I was thinking about using them...but then I stumbled upon this site and realized if they are illega, they really can't collect anything. Am I correct in assuming this?

Per an email I received from my Langhorne representative in regards to a couple of my illegal loans:

"With these companies, we are very quick to file regulatory complaints and our goal is to force them to abandon the debt rather than reach a traditional settlement. "

My representative outlined all of my lenders one by one and told me exactly what to expect from each.

Well, I have a number of other loans to contend with as well, including some installment loans. I felt that having Langhorne on my side and dealing with the nasties was a better alternative than doing it myself right now, so I'm paying them for the peace of mind that I don't have to pay attention to the lender phone calls. :)

Your mileage may vary...
