Arent these people (Credit Protection Loan) suppose to WARN you, before they take a debit out? I understand they are collecting for a PDL. Well.....as 'we' all know, the CA's, for the PDL's don't play fair, either.

They withdrew $61.51 from my account and then 4 days later attempted to withdraw another $120. I have NEVER had a payday loan with any of the companies listed above and am not in default for anything, therefore, I am not in "collection" status. Does anyone have a telephone number for these people? My bank has issued an affidavit in order to investigate this issue but it would be nice to contact them on my own and allow them to do the right thing.

Have you sent anything to them in the way of a C and D letter? Have you considered closing you bank account? You can send documentaiton to Mr. William Reed, at Credit Protection Depot. And yes, they will debit your account without a word of warning. They also debit for PayDayMax.

I meant CPD, not CRD in my last post. CPD was pretty easy to work with. I had already paid my MyCashNow account in full and I stll owed on my PayDayMax account. When I called them, they told me my MyCashNow account was marked PIF and all I had to pay was what was owing on the original amount of the loan to get my PIF for PayDayMax. Over and done in a matter of minutes. All that after I sent a copy of my C and D letter to Mr. Reed. In fact, the phone call came right after I got home from faxing the info over.
