rochetag,
Have you tried contacting the original creditors on the accounts? Also you should think about registering here so that a counselor can give you their expert advice on how to handle this type of situation.Once you register, they will call you.
Hi rochetag
Hi rochetag
Did you pull your credit report from the other two bureaus also? You need to compare it thoroughly before you move ahead. You have to send letters of dispute along with the proof of your payment made to the bureau reporting the error. If they are not willing to remove the information or are not verifying the account with your information providers, you can send them a follow-up letter.
If the credit bureau refuses to correct the information after being provided proof, it is defamation, willful injury under FCRA Section 623. The extent of damages will be incurred by the wronged party, as deemed by the courts.
You have the legal rights to take actions against your creditors also if they are reporting the information in your credit report negatively. You can use the following letter to correspond with your creditors. You can make modifications tailoring to your needs.

They do not report to the other two bureaus only Transunion. I asked them to report but they said no.
The letter that I recently sent them contains the credit reports from Transunion that shows even after 5 months after it was pulled that the account was in good standing. I also have three other reports from Transunion at different times that shows the correct information. Only after the gov't pulled my Transunion report did it show up. So the onlt information I have is the credit reports, but I am having my old bank pull all the checks made out to them as additinal proof. Even then the credit bureau will not change the negative mark, they say it is insufficient eveidence. Only the creditor can. I checked with the BBB and they have nine other names or businesses that they operate from and they have received numerous consumer complaints, but they are not a member. I have contacted an attorney, but don't know what they will say.

Hi rochetag,
It is strange to find that a credit bureau is giving this type of feedback. You should consult your attorney and let us know the latest.
I guess the attorney will also take this matter seriously.
