Hi
I need a big help. This is my story.
I had a credit card account and lost my job a couldn't afford to pay. I didn't pay for a while. The creditor sold the account to collection agency, that collection sold to another collection agency in meantime I was overhelmed with phone calls. On my credit report I saw the credit card company, the collection agency(the first one)the collection agency(the second one) all three on my negative summary. The bank written off my account. Finally I collect some money and send the money to the second collection agency and paid off my ballance. The original credit line was $250 after late fees and interest came up to $410. But anyway I paid off. I didn' t receive a letter that paid off my balance and after a month latter I still have all three companies on my credit report as negative accounts. What I should do?

did you keep receipt and copies of your payment? Was it check or money order? contact credit reporting agencies with your proof of payment i'm thinking or wait sasha because experts on site will give you very good advice good luck and congrats! for paying when you could! :D

Thanks for your quick answer. Yes, i do keep all my copies from my checks. There are is another thing here. I called the collection agency and wanted to ask about the letter or if they can report to Credit Bureaus that I paid off and the person who I talked with was so rude and hanged up on me. I called again and talked with another person she was the same as the first one. I calle dthird time within 1o minutes and she was very rude and told me "we are glad that you pay your balance, any way your credit is bad have a nice day" and hang on me again! I was so irritated and got mad so I am thinking why I should pay the other accounts any way my credit stinks and will not be improved for the next seven years. what do you think?

The trade line from the original collection agency needs to be deleted. The original creditor can keep their trade line on your credit report as long as it reflects correct information. When the first collection agency sold your account to the second the first CA no longer has any stake in the matter and cannot report on it nor can they keep any information on your credit report. Contact the collection agency and dispute the first collection agency's entry with the 3 major credit reporting bureaus.

I have twice lvnv funding llc for the same account from The Best Buy creditor. Why they are twice and best buy is plus? If Best Buy sold to LVNV they should still stay on my credit report? Or another thing. I settled the balance instead of $3044 I paid $2200 and why Best Buy still is on my credit report and why other accounts which I paid in full but were charged off or were on collection after I paid in full they are still in my negative items? What I should do to remove from my negative items or at least to recode to positive items?
Thanks
