if it's something negative it will raise your score...if it's so
if it's something negative it will raise your score...if it's something positive, it might actually lower...but of course, who would want something positive removed from their report?

That is how some credit repair companies rip you off. They contest everything at once, get paid and then the marks come back weeks later!

Removing negative entries that are obsolete, inaccurate, false or are erroneous will surely increase your score. But if you are talking about accurate negative items then I'm afraid that they cant be removed. I know there are many credit repair clinics that advertise that they can remove accurate bankruptcies, liens, foreclosures and charge offs ..but its not true. No credit repair company can change negative items that are accurate.
