I called the phone number to BIG that was in the e-mail that they sent me about my payment being returned. I asked the man that answered for a mailing address. He asked me "who am I speaking with"? I said "I just need a mailing address please". He asked "Do you have an account with us?" I said "I just need a mailing address please". He said "If you tell me your name and if you have an account, I'll give you the address". I said "You can't give me the mailing address without that information?" He said "no, I can't". I asked why and he asked me why I needed the address. I told him that I needed to send them a letter. He again repeated that he could not give me the address without the information that he was requesting. I finally just hung up on the guy. I was trying to get the address so I could file a complaint with BBB. Can you still file a complaint with them without knowing the address or where they are actually located? Any help would be appreciated ; )

Tina, there is this one as well, but from everything I read this is just a drop box and they are actually located in England.

You can use this to file with the bbb and the other address, use to file with the FTC. If I remember correctly, the BBB does not handle cases for out of country addresses.

THE FTC, is FTC.org .

The FTC will send you an e-amil letting you know that your complaint will be kept on file. The BBB should send you an e-mail letting you know that your complaint has been assigned and forwarded to the company and the company has 30 days (I think) to respond. Then, if the company responds, they will give you time to acctept or decline the response. If the company does not respond you will receive either a letter in the mail or an e-mail with the apologies of the bbb and a recommendation you file with your state agency or go to small calims court. It seems like it takes forever, Most of mine took 60 days or so.

Mine were all illegal and way overpaid. And yes, they have continued to call me...but I kept emailing a response...eventually the calls lessened and now I get one every once in awhile. A couple have sent me to collections but that is easier to deal with than the actual companies.

tina, use the Reno, NV address when filing your complaints. That is the address the agencies use to connect the pdl with their illegal activity. You said you filed with the BBB and the FTC. Excellent. Do not leave out your state AG. File with them. Also, do not speak with BIG. You need everything documented. I know you were just trying to get an address; however, you never know what they are going to say. Everything done with them must be in writing. You will need this documentation.

break, I received an email from them once, but it was just a "computer generated" email. One that you couldn't respond to. I'm not sure if anyone does have a "working" email for them. I'm bumping this up. Would be great to have one!

They only called my work 1 time. Fortunately I work for a bankruptcy attorney that DESPISES payday lenders. :)

He actually picked up the phone, told them them were in violation of privacy laws because they told him I had a loan with them, and then rattled off a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo... I haven't heard a peep from them since!
