My husband and I are thinking about actually seeing this one in the theater...What do you guys think about it?

Look in the budget sections for the Vincent Price version, like the two for $1, from about 1960 or so. I was a fan of the novel and finaly found it. The author, Richard Matheson was also a writer on the Twilight Zone, and successful SF novelist in his own right. He also wrote "What Dreams May Come", which the film version was popular a while back.

Movie Review: One of the best movies I've seen this year. Awesome story line, excellent acting, amazing CGI. I will definately be getting this one on DVD.

The story line (without giving any spoilers) is that a virus has infected well over half of the population into some type of mutant human-monster. One man is living in New York looking for survivors while also looking for a cure to the virus.

This is one good movie.
