As to those debts from four years ago, check your state's statute of limitations regarding consumer debt. As to what they can do to you legally? All they can do is sue, if they deside to. And even then, each state I know of has a list of exemptions from judgment, and if you live in Texas or Florida, they can do next to nothing except to try and go after your bank account. Look up your state law regarding collections, law suits and judgments.

I think my biggest problem is that i dont know what half of these debts i have are anymore. I have a couple from the those payday loan places you find online. I live in Florida. Any good websites to go and checkout the state laws in regards to these things. Also the Student Loan was in NY. Thanks All!
