THIS COMPANY IS VERY RUDE. WE WERE VICTIMIZED BY THIS COMPANY AND EVEN THOUGH THEY GOT THE MONEY THAT THEY WERE NEVER EVEN AUTHORIZED TO DEPOSIT TO BEGIN WITH THEY STILL KEEP CALLING. WE HAVE A COMPANY WE RETAINED TO ASSIST US WITH OUR DEBTS AND SO EVERYTIME THIS COMPANY CALLS I KEEP A LOG AND TURN IT INTO THE THE COMPANY WE RETAINED BECAUSE AFTER THE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR WE EXPERIENCED FROM THEM WE NO LONGER TALK TO THEM THEY CAN TALK TO THE COMPANY THAT WE RETAINED FOR US

I expected a transaction to be debited from my account by a particular debt consolidation company. Upon checking my account, I noticed that two of the same transaction was being debited by this Phoenix company which I never heard of. The worst part is when I got a contact number from my bank to straighten this matter out, that number did not work. When I checked the net, I called another number listed and I got a recording which asked that I leave a message but never gives the opportunity. The greeting just kept repeating.

I received a message from them (which I could hardly understand). I had to listen to the message several times to get the understand what they were saying. He just left a number..........no company name........he said he had some paperwork he needed to process and that I should get back to him at this number. I called the number............which said Phoenix Debt. Management. The recording said to leave a message........which it would not allow you to do because the greeting kept repeating itself. Who are these people????
They don't sound very professional. Should a person even spend their time dealing with them???

I received a message from a "Miss Maline" with Phoenix debt management company who stated they rec'd papers in August and have been attempting to reach me (this is untrue--I have never rec'd any calls or mail from this company). She also stated that if I did not call back immediately they were going to contact my employer and file all of the papers with my employer. I did try to call back, but there was no answer and I attempted to leave a message--I never rec'd a case # or account #. Can they legally do this? I have never been served with any legal documentation and it has always been my understanding that in order for anyone to garnish your wages they must send you legal documentation. Am I incorrect? Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. My husband is out of work, we have 2 kids, I am the only one working, and we are losing everything. I have nothing to give these people and I do not know who I can contact to help me.

they have called me and harrased me a lot and I am going to be having a law suit against them because they have called my work and tried to get my wages garnished. They are a very bad company and very unprofessional. I even tried to work with them to pay and they hung up on me and talked to me with disrespect. they can not do any of this go to ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm this will explain your rights and what you can go after them for. i only owe $300 and can pay it but wont because I think someone has to go after this company.

Yes, I just got off the phone with them. They are pretty bad. I even asked them for their address, so that I can start making payments on my over due bill. He said "no" That's messed up!

I had a bad experience with them as well. An employee name Anne. The Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (fdcpa) states in Section 1692c that they can not harass you. They can get sued and at this point I'd rather pay an attorney to sue them than the money I owe this company.

I am in the process of filing a class action against them and naming Sal Abbott personally. They violate every law there is and they are not liscensed to collect anywhere. The debit accounts without authorization and that is a NACHA violation. They have violated the wrong persons rights and they will be shut down.

If you are serious about filing a class action lawsuit, I would like to join. They are ridiculous. I just filed complaints against them with the FTC and AG's office, but I would really like to see this in court.

Sal Abbott sells debt that is not his and he has just been caught. Do not pay his company as he pockets the money.

I am dealing with them also.. they were pushy about the money, however, they did offer me a "deal" if I paid the "full amount" then they would knock off about $100 from the total.. I didn't totally trust who they claimed to be so I refused to pay over the phone that second & got their number (which they seemed reluctant to give)

I called Household Bank.. who the debt was owned to.. they referred me to another debit agency (I believe it was Navaro or something).. I called them.. they had sold the account to National Credit Adjusters... who use Phoenix Debt Management associates as their collectors..

Overall, it wasn't pleasant, but I owed them so I paid.

They just called my home for my Mother. She doesn't even live with me. They try to pass off that she gave them my number in reference. BULL. They have also called MY mother-in-law. Which I know for a fact that she never gave her number out. Ms. Pierson is who talked with me. She told me a bunch of information that should only be shared with the person owning the debt. SO I CALLED THE FTC!! Yes I did!! You all should too.
